What is the date of Math Kangaroo Contest for the year 2013?
The Kangaroo Math contest for the year 2013 is scheduled to be held on March 21, 2013 at 10:00 AM all over the Pakistan.

What is the closing date of registration for Math Kangaroo Contest 2013?
The registration for this year Math Kangaroo contest is open from November 15th, 2012. The schools and colleges can complete their registration process by the December 15th, 2012.

Can our school/college get registered to the Math Kangaroo contest after December 15th, 2012?
No! The deadline for registration to the contest is December 15th, 2012, thereafter no registration will be accepted after that date.

What happens if my institute sends registration application before the application deadline but it is recieved late to the commission due to postal delays?
Please make sure that your application must reach the commission well in time since applications recieved late will not be entertained by the commission.

Can we send the registration fee in cash ?
NOT AT ALL!
The registration fees can only be sent by the institution to the commission in the form of Pay order (from Lahore institutions) or in the form of Demand Draft (other than Lahore institutions).

Can we send the registration fee through cross cheque/Money order/Postal order etc?
NOT AT ALL!
The registration fee cannot be accepted in any form other than Pay order from Lahore institutions and the Demand Draft from other institutions.

Where we can get prepared the Pay order /bank draft?
It can be prepared from any scheduled bank of Pakistan.

What should be the title of the pay order/Bank draft OR to whom it is payable?
Please get prepared your pay order /Bank draft in favour of "PAKISTAN KANGAROO COMMISSION"

What is the responsibility of the hosting institutions?
To devote about 2-3 hours on the Contest Day (March 21th, 2013) during the working hours in your institution to conduct a written test, to inform students about the registration, to receive the competition material (we send the material in advance by courier), to make sure the students work independently in the designated time, to mail the answer forms back to the Kangaroo Center in Lahore after test, to receive and distribute Medals, diplomas, prizes, etc.

Our school is not interested in hosting IKMC. Can we still participate in the competition?
Participation in the Contest is through the institution only. Individuals participation is not possible.

What is the cost of participation in IKMC in Pakistan?
The participation fee for IKMC 2013 is Rs.600.00 per student. Parents pay the fee, sometimes schools, or any other local sponsors.
